Located in Northern Virginia and staffed by a talented and dedicated group of tutors, volunteers, and mentors, Dyslexic Edge provides both tutoring in a specialized methodology designed for children with dyslexia as well as enrichment activities in a variety of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (or STEM) fields.  We invite you to learn more about how this innovative program can help your student or how you can contribute your time and talent!

Sliding Doors(Dyslexic Edge) made a huge difference in our child’s life. They went from below grade level in reading to above grade level after completing the program. As a child dx with dyslexia, this was the only intervention that had proven results.

Dyslexics are multi-dimensional, out-of-the-box thinkers who are highly creative and successful in many areas including the arts, music, finance, mathematics, design and engineering

Our son shared with us the other day that he wishes he could do Sliding Doors all day, and not just the STEM activities! He loves his tutor and enjoys the reading!

I’ve been meaning to share with you how happy your daughter is and how much she is enjoying the program. Her teacher came up to me to brag about her because for the first time she read outloud in front of the classroom and did a great job and she is finally on the reading level where they expect her to be. So we are over the moon, needless to say
